On location photographers spend a good portion of their time sourcing the right spots for your sessions. I personally invest a lot of time and energy into it. Things are constantly changing, areas are being cleared for development, grass gets mown or fenced off or we are unable to access areas due to the weather. And I'm particularly fussy with my requirements. Often my little ones come along, dressed in their daggiest clothes it seems. It's great exercise for us all and they enjoy looking at new things. Their reaction gives me a good idea how your little ones will feel about a location too. This particular spot got scratched off my list of potentials, but I love this little series of my kids regardless. And the shot at the end.. to me is priceless. Totally worth the Maccas bribery!
Hi, I'm Mandii. I was a North Brisbane based family and newborn photographer. Using natural light and shooting on location, I aspired to bring my clients authentic and meaningful images that captured the true heart of their family and little ones. Real, honest and beautiful. Unfortunately for chronic health reasons I no longer operate as a professional.

Little One - Brisbane Lifestyle Newborn Photographer
Earlier this year I met this beautiful fam-bam for their maternity session.
I was instantly struck by their lovely connection and how down to earth
they were. It was wonderful to be invited back into their home for a
lifestyle newborn session, to meet their new little boy, and
lots of other family members who were thrilled to have him in their
lives too. Super super special.

Smile - North Brisbane Family Photographer
I had it all worked out. We would have to shelter in the shed and take it in turns sharing umbrellas and taking photos under the tree. You see, sometimes the weather doesn't improve. Sometimes those grey clouds get bigger, sometimes you can't reschedule, sometimes you are going to get rained on.
This was one of those times. But these guys were such an optimistic fam-bam, full of joy and the perfect amount of silliness. How gorgeous is that yellow dress? The perfect dash of sunshine we needed. And we even managed a bit of real sun at the end!
