Beary Special - Brisbane Baby Photography

The first thing I noticed about this little poppet was his eyes, then his gorgeous eyelashes, and when he smiled...those little tiny toothy-pegs. Such an adorable little boy. One of these little bears belonged to his mumma. How precious is that? You are always welcome to bring special items to your photo session.

Their little girl got out the car and ran to me, and a few moments later (once we had established her ballet dress would NOT fit me), we were hand in hand off on adventure. There were cuddles, giggles, bubbles and daisy chains, Minecraft talk and the occasional big squishy cuddle for me. Two wonderful children, wise beyond their years and full of love and adoration for their parents. My heart skipped a beat when their gorgeous son said - "We love you Mum. That is all there is to understand".

Wear Green for Premmies - Brisbane Family Photographer

This year on the 15th of April 2015, the 5th Annual Wear Green for Premmies event will occur. People all over Australia will choose to wear green to show their support and to raise awareness for all the little loves born too soon. 

This year, the gorgeous face of the event belongs to Rachel. Rachel was born at just 24 weeks gestation. You can read more about her story here.  She is such a remarkable and joyful girl, and I was so pleased to capture these special photos for the cause and her family. Prematurity is so close to our heart with our own son being born premature. During this painful time and the long journey at home afterwards the L'il Aussie Prems Foundation Forum was a wonderful support for me and so many others in the same situation.

This is what it feels like to be three. And I'm so grateful that he shared it with me and 'Raffie on this bright sunny morning before his party. I love this little boy so much. He's super special.
