I very often struggle to write blog posts. The truth is I can't seem to find the appropriate words. Photographs say so much more than anything I could clumsily string together. So I shall leave you with this collection of joyful, honest images and I hope the love this family has for each other and their new son shines through to you - the same way it did to me.

Golden Days - Brisbane Family Photography

Oh how these two girls have grown and changed since the last time I saw them. I'm so lucky to get to spend the afternoons with beautiful families, chasing the sun. These days are golden. Here are just a few of my favourites.

One of my favourite books when my children were younger was "You Are My I Love You" by Maryann K. Cusimano. I urge you to read it if you have the chance, especially if you have little ones. It sums up so well, what everyday parenting is like and I often think of it during family photography sessions. They are such a wonderful mix of chaos and quiet endearing moments.  Of random acts of silliness and heartwarming squeezes (that sometimes feel like squashes). Each and every session completely unique and I think that's why I love them so so much. 

Embrace - North Brisbane Family Photographer

Photographing until the very last drop of light because the kids were enjoying being together so much. Taking the time to pause and embrace each other right now, just the way they are. Things change so soon. Thank you for placing your trust in me guys, it's an afternoon I will always treasure. You are wonderful and are raising two tremendous kids x  Here's the short, short version. Was so hard to choose what to leave out.
