A sunny little spot playing in the dirt with a fierce wind tousling his hair.  What more could you ask when you photograph a little boy? Put aside expectations, embrace your little loves the way they are and you just might find, that is all that matters when capturing their authenticity.

Love and light - North Brisbane Engagement Session

When I think back to this session a few weeks ago, two words come to mind. Love and light. Both were in abundance. These two decided to meet me in the location where he proposed for their photos, and we were blessed with the most gorgeous weather. So happy for you both, congratulations! Warrior Princess - Lifestyle Photography Brisbane

When I arrived to find this little love having a good old chuckle and conversation with her parents on the bed while they got ready, I forgot all about the grey and dreary day outside. You see, the world has waited a long time to hear these delightful sounds.

Born 3 months premature, and weighing a tiny 610g, this sweetheart has fought long and hard to be here, earning her the affectionate title of Warrior Princess at the hospital. Her loving parents are dear friends of mine, and my heart ached so much for them when she was born, knowing all too well what the journey of having a micro-prem is like.

I was so pleased to be invited to photograph her at 6 months of age, finally in her own home, safe and secure. Like many micro-prems her journey is far from over once coming home, but I know with these two parents by her side guiding her, there is no limit to what she can achieve.

I met this delightful little poppet for his first birthday photos.You can see those images here.  It was so wonderful to see how much he has grown and to photograph his big soulful eyes again now that he is two years old. This time he was accompanied by both sets of grandparents and it's pretty safe to say he is the centre of attention and absolutely adored. And so he should be. What a divine little boy!
