Waiting on Baby Girl - North Brisbane Outdoors Maternity Photography

Golden hour and last light. I love it so much.

So great to be able to do a mini maternity session for these guys and their hilarious dog. I'm pretty sure he was preparing them for the chaos that was about to unfold. Congratulations on your baby girl guys.

Where the leaves are gold part 2- Brisbane Maternity Photographer

The beautiful soft light of the first day of Winter. How gorgeous are these two? I wish you both all the very best on your journey to becoming parents.

Don't be put off by the cooler weather. The soft light of winter is just beautiful for your portraits and you can introduce lots of different colours, textures and layers.

Where the leaves are gold - Brisbane Maternity Photographer

"Every leaf speaks bliss to me, fluttering from the Autumn tree"- Emily Bronte

Nothing makes me happier than bringing a vision to life. I was so incredibly blessed to be able to do this creative maternity session recently with my good friend Melissa from Honey Bee Photography

I've decided to present it in two parts. Please enjoy this first one.

Little Fire- North Lakes Maternity Photographer

In the quiet of the afternoon, as the sun went down, they played together, chatted and celebrated the new life within. A new baby, a little fire burning.  Congratulations and thank you for inviting me to capture this special time for you. You are such a precious family.

My Pot of Gold- The Sunflowers- Brisbane Maternity Photographer

After driving for many hours alone that day, when my gorgeous friend finally pointed out the golden stretch to me below the hill I could have squealed with delight. Luckily she kept me grounded. Anyone who knows me, knows that sunflowers are one of my absolute favourite things.

We then spent the next hour swatting flies, shielding ourselves from the harsh afternoon sun, losing our belongings in rows upon rows of tall flowers that all looked exactly the same (funny that) and trying not to giggle ourselves silly. All while being tooted at and waved at by all the passers by.

What a wonderful afternoon, and I am so glad I got to share it with this lovely girl, welcoming her third gorgeous child into the world in early 2014.

Whatever your dream is in 2014. Whether it's finding your own field of sunflowers or something a touch more ordinary, I hope with the help of your friends and family and with your own determination, you can find it.

Thank you for all your wonderful support this year.
