Things sometimes don't go to plan. At these guys last session, it stormed and poured rain. But what I love about them, is it didn't matter in the end. They made it their own and no one rocked a stormy sky with wet hair like they did.  Carlie is the beautiful face behind Carlie Wheeler Images and I have to tell you... I was pretty damn excited to get her email and more excited to see bright sun this time. 

And please.... give me all the mums that crash tackle their kids and get into the ocean with them. Give me all the dads that race their kids on the beach and yet still snuggle their babies so gently. What rock stars. These are the things your kids remember. Thanks guys, you are bloody adorable x

There is a cool saying - I like people who smile when it's raining 

Well, I like them even more when they laugh with their whole heart during the rain. When umbrellas fly away. When little feet become muddy. When clothing is soaked through, and it seems like the whole sky is against you. I like people that can laugh through that. Like these guys. How gorgeously happy are they? Carlie is a talented local photographer so it was such a privilege to be asked to do this special job for her. I couldn't possibly show all the ones I love, so here are a few favourites.
